Check In time is between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Late Arriving Guests and Inn Hours:
The Inn is staffed from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Guests who anticipate arriving after 6:00 p.m.
should inform the reservation staff member at the time the reservation is made;
We have a way to ensure that late arriving guests are able to gain access to the Inn and find their guest bedroom.
Check out is by 11:00 AM.
Failure to check out by 11:00am will result in an additional half day
room charge unless prior arrangements have been made.
Payments & Deposit|
Due to our limited number of guestrooms at the Inn, all reservations
are secured and confirmed with 100% advance payment.
7% RI sales tax and 6% Newport City bed tax is added to all
reservation totals. We accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or
Guests intending to utilize Gift Certificates or Stay Vouchers as form of payment need to do so at the time of booking to avoid additional 20 % Transaction Fee
Rates quoted are based on double occupancy.
We charge $50.00 per additional person.
Rates are subject to change.
Cancellation and Reservation Date-Change Policy|
- Deposit refunds - a 10% processing fee will apply if cancellation is received before 14 days of the arrival date..
- For cancellations within 14 days of arrival, a Credit for future
stay will be issued only if we are able to rebook the room (valid for 3 months in the amount for which the Inn is able to re-sell the guestroom).
- No refunds or future stay credits are given for “Early Departures” or “No-Shows”.
- Same policy as Cancellation applies to Reservation Date Changes including minimum-night stays over weekends and holidays.
- All Cancellations or Reservation Change Requests must be communicated via email (not over the phone or voice-message) directly to Innkeeper@bayberryinnofnewport.com
We guarantee you a room upon arrival - please take our policy for canceling SERIOUSLY.
Gift Certificates may be purchased in any dollar amount and may be
redeemed until date of expiration. Gift Certificates are nonrefundable.
For the comfort of all our guests, Smoking in guestrooms is strictly prohibited and our
policy is enforced. An automatic $250 cleaning fee will be added to a
Guest's bill if the room has been smoked in.
Smoking may be enjoyed outside on the porch.
While we happily accommodate children, the Inn however does not have specific equipment to accommodate infants. We otherwise welcome our minor guests and appreciate well-behaved children!
We regret that we are unable to accommodate Pets. We can provide a referral for local Pet accommodations if you are traveling with your Pet and wish to stay at the Inn.
A $100 charge will be added to the Guest's bill if keys are lost or not returned upon departure.
The Inn is not responsible for lost or left items, valuables or damage
in the parking lot.
Candles in Rooms
Due to fire code we cannot allow candles in rooms for any reason. Any candles found in rooms will be removed. Any damage due to the use of candles will result in an additional charge $250.
